Retired Advertising Executive
Joseph L. Pedone was born and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey. Graduating with a major in advertising Joe joined Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, where he served as an executive vice president. Later Joe was recruited by Prudential to build the infrastructure for a full-service in-house ad agency.
Among Joe’s honors are an appointment to New York University’s Board of Directors for Graphic Communications, being inducted into the Publishing & Production Executives Hall of Fame, received two Best in Show Awards for the Partnership for A Drug Free America, and the Civilian Commendation Medal from the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
Joe’s motto is “We Work for a Cause Never for Applause.”
Beverly Roemer Mancini, a lifelong resident of Park Ridge, New Jersey, proudly boasts that her grandchildren are fourth generation graduates of Park Ridge High School.
Bev is a passionate volunteer who lives by her motto “Make a Difference.” A list of her volunteer work includes representing Hunter Douglas on the Bergen County Business Volunteer Council, co-founder of the Butch Mancini Memorial Foundation (which awards scholarships to students who have overcome a personal hardship and offers complimentary heart screenings to high school freshmen), the New Jersey State Federation of Woman’s Clubs, the Tri-Boro Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, and the Bergen County Girl Scouts Council.
Joe and Bev are proud members of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks (BPOE). Both are Past Exalted Rulers and trustees of their lodge and have been appointed to state committees, with Joe being elected as BPOE State President in 2023, an over 54,000 member association.
Together for 17 years, they have a good life focusing on community service and the charities of the BPOE, traveling and spending precious time with their combined families, 5 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
