President, Metro Exhibits
Phil Zamloot is a nonstop relationship builder with a personal directive: “Be different.”
With a business plan handwritten on three sheets of yellow legal paper, Phil founded Metro Exhibits in 2008, creating a full-service trade show display company that put customer service and relationships first. His vision included investing in in-house production for maximum flexibility and control. Within 12 years, Metro had grown to three nationwide locations with more than 100 employees.
When Covid hit, Metro adapted swiftly, producing Plexiglass dividers and specialty signage, and building luxury interiors while trade shows were paused. Phil also opened World of Wax (WOW) sports card store in Randolph, NJ. Today, both businesses are thriving; in fact, with 100,000+ sq ft of manufacturing/warehouse space, Metro is one of the country’s top exhibit houses.
Though “relax” isn’t in his vocabulary, Phil enjoys generously giving advice to his sons, Phil and Matt, while watching their games with his wife, Cindy, or talking politics poolside, cigar in hand, at his Randolph NJ home. And there is nothing like a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club.
