Meet Paulette.

Paulette Laurenzi founded Spring Lake Hope Foundation (formerly Spring Lake Toys Foundation) in May of 2016.

What started out as a mission to grant new toys to lift the spirits of children with illnesses quickly developed into a mission of hope. Spring Lake Hope pays for the medical and medical related expenses, not covered by insurance, for children with rare illnesses and special needs. Life enhancing therapies, adaptive equipment, wheelchair accessible vans and home modifications are some of the many items we cover. Join us in our journey as we approach our 10 year anniversary!

Our second adaptable van grant for 2026 goes to 16 year old Evan from Ocean County NJ. A rear entry ramp into this amazing Chrysler will provide the safety and independence that Evan needs. Evan has outgrown his car and is lovingly nicknamed Houdini because he can mysteriously wiggle out of his car seat. No more wiggling out now, Evan. You will have to find a new trick!
