Chad Tyler Sorrell is a Senior Risk Executive at Acrisure, specializing in commercial insurance and financial risk management. With over 30 years in the industry, Chad has developed a robust expertise in working with CEOs and CFOs to enhance shareholder value and fortify client balance sheets. Mr. Sorrell values the personal and professional relationships that he has forged through shared success and mutual respect.
Chad’s extensive career encompasses senior management roles as Chief Executive, President, Partner, Investor, Practice Leader and Sales Professional. At Acrisure, Mr. Sorrell’s role is trusted advisor, leading a practice of commercial businesses within construction- general, specialty, trade and sub-contractors, multi-family management and development, real estate and wholesale trade industries. His deep knowledge of the financial technology industry together with Acrisure capabilities has equipped Chad to address complex risk issues, solving technology and cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations.
He was conferred a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from St. John’s University at The Greenberg School of Risk Management with a concentration in Property/Casualty and Risk Management.
Chad is committed to serving the communities in which he resides. He is currently Board Director-Secretary serving Caring Partners of Morris & Sussex; current Director- Construction Roundtable of New Jersey; Director Emeritus, Vice President – Board of Advisors, St. John’s University, Hank Greenberg School of Risk Management and Actuarial Sciences.
Chad is passionate about sports and music. He regularly plays pick-up basketball. He has mentored young players in career development and effective soft skills in business. Mr. Sorrell has a son who works with the New York City Police Department – Special Tactical Operations. Chad resides with his wife, Isabel, in Montville, New Jersey.
