Owner, Danyel Nicole
Danyel Nicole Competiello has been a passionate advocate for community service and philanthropy since the first grade when she joined the Girl Scouts. The values learned in scouting of leadership, compassion, and service profoundly shaped who she is today. Wanting to pass those same lessons on to the next generation, Danyel led her daughter’s troop through nine years of growth and achievement.
Her dedication to helping others extends far beyond scouting by also serving as a Sunday school teacher, where her commitment earned her the “Teacher of the Year” award.
Since 2021, Danyel has served as a Wyckoff Environmental Commissioner, along with mentoring the selected Junior Commissioners each year.
Danyel’s passion for unity and civic engagement led her to co-found Women United for a Stronger New Jersey, a nonprofit focused on bringing women together across political lines to discuss hard important issues like human trafficking and mental health.
In addition, she serves as the Secretary and Scholarship Chair for the Wyckoff Republican Club, where she champions community involvement and education.
Alongside her philanthropic and civic endeavors, Danyel is also a successful entrepreneur, who since 2021 is the proud owner of Danyel Nicole, her salon suite in Wyckoff.
For the past eight years, Danyel has been proud to stand beside the amazing volunteers of the Spring Lake Hope Foundation. Danyel was one of the first Little Hero’s for Hope initiative supporters and has been excited to help grow the program as a team member.
Whether she’s mentoring young leaders, empowering women, or creating beauty behind the chair, Danyel continues to inspire those around her through her generosity, leadership, and heart for service.
