Richard Benevento
Chief Executive Officer, Dealer Loyalty Protection, Inc.
Richard Benevento is the Chief Executive Officer of Mahwah, New Jersey-based Dealer Loyalty Protection, Inc. (“DLP”), an international insurance company, that underwrites vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, and other auto industry protections throughout the United States and Canada. In large part due to his leadership and guidance, DLP is one of the few licensed insurance carriers permitted in the warranty space in the United States.
Rich is a combat veteran having served in the Army as well as the Coast Guard. After his military service he attended Rutgers University; eventually co-founding and owning his own company.
Rich is active in numerous originations such as the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, VFW, and the NRA. In addition, Rich serves as an advisor and counselor to service men and women returning from military service overseas.
Rich, his wife Evelyn and their five sons reside in Old Tappan, New Jersey. One of these boys was born with special needs which the family fought hard to overcome and lead this child to a well-adjusted life. As a result of this background, when Rich learned more about Spring Lake Hope Foundation, he was impressed and inspired to become involved and give back to a charity that hits so close to home.
