An emotional celebration honoring remarkable children and the families who love them.
Franklin Lakes, NJ, September 15, 2025 – Spring Lake Hope Foundation announced that it will host its Ninth Annual Gala Luncheon at the scenic Indian Trail Club, uniting supporters, families, and friends for what has become one of the region’s most powerful gatherings of compassion, generosity, and inspiration. The event will be held on October 23 at 11am. This year’s event promises unforgettable moments of love and resilience, along with the excitement of welcoming legendary athletes from the worlds of soccer, hockey, and football—sports icons who will join in honoring the extraordinary courage of the foundation’s “lil’ heroes.”
“Each year, the gala is a day when our community opens its heart,” said Founder and President Paulette Pera Laurenzi. “It’s about honoring the strength of these children, lifting up their families, and showing them that they are never alone in their journey.”
Salvatore Frassetto, Chairman of the Board of Advisors, shared, “Seeing the joy and relief we bring to these families is something I’ll never forget. This event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a chance to rewrite stories, restore hope, and remind these children they are heroes in every sense of the word.”
The afternoon will also feature the Zoey Award, named in loving memory of Zoey Komninos, whose sixteen-year battle with severe health challenges touched countless lives. The award will be presented to a child whose quality of life will be transformed through this meaningful gift, continuing Zoey’s enduring legacy of love and resilience.
The event’s reach and impact are made possible through the unwavering support of dedicated partners, including Presenting Sponsor, Inserra Supermarkets, owners of 23 ShopRites, whose commitment to community care mirrors the foundation’s mission, and Saddleback Real Estate Developers and Waxman Industrial, both instrumental along with our other sponsors in ensuring that every child honored can receive the help they need.
“This event is possible because of our Board of Advisors, our sponsors, and the generosity of our community,” added Pera Laurenzi. “You are the reason we can keep hope alive.”
Tickets are now available for those who wish to be part of this extraordinary day of courage, connection, and community.
